What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2027 NFL Draft?
I believe my style of play separates me from a lot of defensive backs. I impact the game in multiple ways and take pride in being a tone setter for my team. I study the game consistently and execute at a high level.
Tell me about a time you faced adversity and how you responded.
I faced adversity coming back from a shoulder injury. It took a lot of discipline, long nights of rehab, and strong faith in God. That experience helped me grow mentally and physically, and made me more resilient as an athlete.
What are your hobbies outside of football?
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I love studying and watching the game of football.
What role do you see yourself playing at the next level?
I want to eventually develop into a leader. Early on, I plan to be a sponge learning as much as possible and leading by example through my work ethic.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would donate to programs that support youth development, helping kids stay on the right path through sports and mentorship.
How do you handle coaching, especially criticism or being corrected repeatedly?
I handle coaching well because I understand it’s never personal. We’re all working toward the same goal, which is improvement and winning.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
I believe our team has a lot of talent overall, and everyone contributes in their own way.
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
I would choose my parents and Jesus Christ. My parents because they’ve sacrificed so much for me, and Jesus because of my faith and the guidance it provides in my life.
If you were benched tomorrow, what would be the most likely reason?
At times, my competitiveness can get the best of me. I play with a lot of emotion, and I’m continuing to grow in controlling that while staying locked in.
Walk me through your typical pre-game routine.
I start my day with prayer with my family, listen to music, do final film study, and mentally prepare myself to compete.
What is your favorite snack food?
Protein bars.
What scheme do you feel you fit best in?
I feel I can adapt and perform in any defensive scheme.
What is your degree in?
Communication and Business.
What would be the first thing you buy with your first NFL check?
I would save it, but if I had to spend it, it would be on something that helps my family.
Describe a time in a game where you made a mistake and how you bounced back.
Football requires a short-term memory. Whether it’s a missed tackle or missed interception, I reset mentally and focus on the next play.
Name three artists we can expect on your playlist.
Drake, J. Cole, and Yeat.
