What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
A family friend was a coach for a youth football team and suggested me to play and fell in love with the sport from that.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Winning the MVFC Championship in 2024 and beating SDSU in 2025.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My mom inspires me the most because it’s been me and her for the longest time and I get my work ethic from her.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
I love the fast pace and love the feeling that anything can happen on a single play.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
I would want to hang out with Dexter Lawrence because he is a player who is dominant in what he does and want to pick his mind on the game.
What are your favorite things about playing football for South Dakota?
I love the chemistry we have on the team and I love the culture that was built here from when I was a freshman until now.
What should we know about Chris Dixon the person?
I like meeting and talking to people, I’m from Canada with one parent from Jamaica, I have 6 sisters, and I love to cook.
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
I like a 4-2-5 defense because of how versatile it is and how it can protect against the run and pass.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I always try to keep a clear mind and find solutions on the spot instead of letting emotions take over.
What would a team get in a player like you?
They would get a player that does their job and a player that does their part so we could win games.
What stands out about your film the most?
Being stout in the run game and having an understanding of offenses in both run and pass.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Blake Holden is the most underrated player I’ve ever played with because he is someone I looked up. He played at 100% no matter how tired he was and always did his job is one of the reasons why USD football has risen up as one of the top FCS programs.
