What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2026 NFL Draft?
What sets me apart is how well my skill set translates to the next level. At my size and speed, I move easily and play fast without losing control. As a defensive back, I’m comfortable playing press coverage, using my length, patience, and physicality at the line of scrimmage to disrupt timing and re-route receivers. I understand leverage, spacing, and route concepts, which allows me to play effectively in both man and zone coverage. I take pride in finishing plays at the catch point and tackling in space. In addition to my defensive ability, I bring immediate value on special teams. I’ve consistently performed as a gunner and on coverage units, where effort, discipline, speed, and toughness matter most. I embrace that role, and I believe my production and film show that I can help an NFL team on Day 1 while continuing to grow defensively.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
Teams should know that I’m extremely dependable and competitive. I prepare the same way every week, I’m coachable, and I take pride in doing the details right. Whether it’s special teams or defense, I bring energy, accountability, and consistency to the room. I don’t need things to be perfect to compete, and I’ll do whatever the team needs to win.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would invest in creating and expanding sports opportunities for kids in underserved communities. Sports provide structure, mentorship, and life lessons that carry far beyond the field, and not everyone has access to those opportunities early in life.
Who was your role model?
My father. He came from nothing and worked his way up through discipline, resilience, and consistency to create a strong family and a successful life. Watching his work ethic shaped my mindset and how I approach football and adversity.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
The Pittsburgh Steelers. I respect their culture, toughness, and history of developing physical, disciplined players.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Xavier Williams. He’s a walk-on defensive back who doesn’t have prototypical size, but he competes at a very high level. His technique is underrated, he’s fearless, and he’s willing to line up against anyone. He brings a lot of value to the room.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
People who complain but don’t put in the work or effort to improve their situation. I believe results come from consistent action, not excuses.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
My 9th-grade religion teacher, who was also my basketball coach. She taught me accountability, discipline, and how to lead with actions instead of words.
Overcoming adversity defines character — what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Not being on the field as much as I wanted throughout my career. It tested my mindset and patience. I had to learn to stay ready, trust the process, and continue improving even when opportunities weren’t guaranteed. That experience strengthened my mental toughness and appreciation for every rep I earn.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house, what would it be?
Chipotle.
What is your favorite snack food?
Fruit snacks.
What is your degree in?
Liberal Arts.
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
LeBron James, Jalen Ramsey, and Tom Brady. I admire their competitive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to perform consistently at the highest level over long careers. They all set the standard for excellence in their professions.
What is your biggest weakness?
Earlier in my career, I sometimes tried to make plays outside of my responsibility instead of fully trusting my technique and assignment. Through experience and coaching, I’ve learned that discipline and consistency create opportunities, and that mindset has helped me become a more reliable and effective player.
