Bears vs Browns – NFL Week 15 Preview & Prediction

Caleb Williams, Ben Johnson and the 9-4 Chicago Bears face arguably the best player in the NFL, Myles Garret and the Cleveland Browns at Soldier Field. Shedeur Sanders has injected life into the Kevin Stefanski offense and passing game, Quinshon Judkins has been one of the best rookie performers in the NFL throughout the 2025 season and likely be compared to Chicago’s 7th round pick, Kyle Monangai. Both players have an extremely physical running style that brings punishment to defenders on every touch. D’Andre Swift adds a bit more speed and versatility with his receiving ability which has formed arguably the best running game in the NFC, behind Drew Dalman, Jonah Jackson and Joe Thuney.

The Denzel Ward injury is concerning as he remains one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL and without him the Browns defense will be at a major disadvantage against a top 10 offense that features rookies Colston Loveland & Luther Burden. The Rome Odunze injury was big last week, as it took away Caleb’s number 1 target and it wasn’t until the second half he seemingly found a rhythm and played very well giving the Bears a chance to beat the Packers in the last 30 seconds before his throw in the endzone intended for Cole Kmet was intercepted.

Mason Graham and Carson Schwesinger have been two impressive rookie defenders straight down the middle and look to be future stars. The Kyler Gordon injury was significant, taking one of the best nickel corners in the league off the field vs Green Bay, it is unclear what is status will be going forward, the Jaylon Johnson injury has put him on a snap count and he’s yet to play at 100% this year which will allow for opportunities on the Cleveland side for Harold Fannin Jr and Jerry Jeudy.

The Bears, after falling from the 1 seed to the 7 seed, have a chance to get back to the 2 seed simply with a win and a Packers loss at the Broncos.
