What is your favorite workout or drill and why?
I would say hill sprints, although they are not fun and I am not in love with them, I love the result! They’ve helped transform my body and help build my speed.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player in the next three years?
In the next 3 years I want to get to the UFL and eventually the highest level! Believe if I dominate everywhere I go, with Christ on my side anything is possible!
What is one thing scouts should see about your game and why?
That I’m an elite and versatile playmaker! Able to make something out of nothing and the ability to go the distance on any play! Coming out of the backfield, in the slot or in the return game.
What does a normal day look like for Tony Williams Jr?
Monday-Friday I wake up at 3:45-4 am, leaving from Indio to train at TNT facility in San Dimas(about an hour and forty five on the way up) to train at 6 am. After my workout I usually head back to Indio and get there around 10. I’ll prepare my meals for the day. Then I’ll get another workout on the field around noon, and then I’ll go to my insurance office where I am a licensed agent in the state of California from 1-5. Then I’ll get another lift in around 7.
Which current or former NFL coach would you want to learn from the most and why?
I really love watching Shanahan and McVay, their offensive minds are such a great thing to watch and would be a dream to learn from.
What was your favorite experience from the last team you were on?
My favorite experience playing for the Barcelona Dragons besides living in Europe was having the capability to do exactly what I did in college, make plays! Not that I didn’t know I had it in me, but sometimes confirmation will push you to go even harder!
Which one of your former teammates deserves a chance and why?
I have a lot of guys in mind when that question comes up, but I’d definitely say Quincy Egson. Had two stellar seasons at College of the Desert, and kind of just fell into the shuffle with all the COVID stuff that happened.
What makes you an intriguing player that deserves to be signed?
I have lived a lot, learned a lot and been around so many different cultures/coaches. Besides from my play I know as a person how great of an impact I can have on a community/locker room! A true natural leader, willing to do anything and everything to win!
