What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up I’ve always watched my older brother play football and it was always something I wanted to do and it’s amazing how you can run around and be free.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Being able to be with my teammates and coming together and pray as a family and build a culture and build relationships that can last for forever.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom is a very strong woman who has been through a lot and has taught me to be respectful and given me an understanding to just love the sport and she has given me the truth but also love and encouragement as well.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

To play alongside my brothers and push each other to win the OVC and take it one day at a time and trust in God’s plan and look forward to playing alongside everyone.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Gareth Warren, Jacob Swihart and Alex Solak, those guys have given me lots of success and I’ve enjoyed every moment of it and those guys blocked for me and those are my guys.

What are your favorite things about playing football for Lindenwood?

Being able to just take a dive into the word of the Lord in the bible study and it makes us more durable and humbler about things.

What should we know about Robert Giaimo the person?

I’m a very energetic person and I’ll bring the energy to everything no matter what time it is and if we are working late, I’ll keep us going and I’m outgoing and I’m always going to give it one hundred and ten percent every day and give it my all.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Since high school and middle school, counter schemes are my bread and butter and if you give two pullers I’ll give everything, I got in my bread-and-butter counter plays.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Being able to put all my stressors and anxieties to God and let him handle it and know there’s a plan for me that’s going to work out and let God take over for me.

What would a team get in a player like you?

An all-around player that can work at any position. I can catch out of the backfield, run, block and I cna return punts and anywhere you put me I’ll get the job done.

What stands out about your film the most?

My physicality and my hard running ability, I run like a bullet and one person can’t take me down because you can see I’m not easy to get down and my mentality is to not go down.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Jared Rhodes, he’s another running back and he’s a hard worker and has great physicality and on film he’s an all around player.
