What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2026 NFL Draft?
I bring leadership, athleticism, and a high football IQ to the quarterback position. I’ve shown I can lead a program, stay calm under pressure, and make plays with both my arm and legs. I prepare like a pro, and I know how to elevate the guys around me. I’ve been battle-tested and continue to grow every season.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I’m going to show up every day with a mindset to get better. I don’t cut corners. I lead by example, stay coachable, and take pride in doing the little things right.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I’d support youth mentorship programs—especially those focused on education, sports, and personal development. Giving kids structure and guidance early can change lives.
Who was your role model?
My dad. He’s always been steady, humble, and someone I’ve looked up to as a leader both at home and in the community.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
The New York Jets. I support Quincy and Quinnen Williams—two brothers from Alabama doing it big on the biggest stage.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
My center, Noah Watts. He’s the rock of our offensive line and doesn’t get nearly enough credit for how much he handles at the line of scrimmage. He’s smart, consistent, and one of the most reliable players on the field.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
Laziness. I can’t stand people who say they want something but don’t put the work in.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
Mr. Edwards, my 5th grade teacher at Woodmeade Elementary. He always believed in me and made learning fun. He was one of the first teachers who really made an impact on my life.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Right now, I’m going through one of the toughest times of my life with my dad being in the hospital. It’s hard to stay focused when someone so important to you is hurting, but I’ve leaned on my faith, my family, and the work. It’s teaching me to stay grounded, control what I can, and show up with purpose every single day. Football has been a steady outlet through it all.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
Chick-fil-A. Can’t go wrong with it—it’s always clutch and consistent.
What is your favorite snack food?
Fruit snacks or trail mix—easy fuel to keep me going.
What is your degree in?
Computer Science
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
- Kobe Bryant – for his unmatched mentality and work ethic.
- Barack Obama – for his leadership and how he connects with people.
- My grandfather – to hear his wisdom and stories that I didn’t get to ask when I was younger.
What is your biggest weakness?
I’m my hardest critic
