What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2026 NFL Draft?

My reputation is built on being a physical, hard-hitting cornerback who relishes challenging elite receivers. I combine instinctive football intelligence with relentless preparation, spending countless hours dissecting film to anticipate plays before they develop. My agility and versatility allow me to excel in both man and zone coverage, while my resilience and competitive nature ensure I never shy away from the moment. I am committed to constant improvement and bringing intensity to every snap.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I am a natural leader and a steadfast motivator, both on and off the field. My humility and work ethic are unwavering I never allow setbacks, whether it’s a disappointing rep or a difficult game, to undermine my confidence or my commitment to the team. Instead, adversity fuels my determination to elevate those around me and to keep progressing, regardless of circumstances.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

Feeding America U.S. hunger relief. I am passionate about combating food insecurity, and I believe that ensuring everyone has access to nutritious meals is fundamental to a just society.

Who is your favorite NFL team?

Detroit Lions.

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

Jalen Hodo, my brother from my days at University of Central Arkansas. Jalen epitomizes dedication and selflessness he excels in every role, whether it’s special teams or in the secondary, and approaches every opportunity with enthusiasm and grit. He is the kind of teammate who makes the whole unit better.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People who chew loudly or smack their food while eating.

Who is your favorite teacher ever?

Holli Neeb, my high school math teacher and mentor. She has been a cornerstone in my development, always pushing me to strive for excellence in every aspect of my life. Her guidance and unwavering support have been invaluable, and I consider her both a mentor and a second mother.

Overcoming adversity defines character what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

The most formidable challenge I have faced was losing football during the COVID-19 pandemic. I walked on at a new program, took on tough jobs just to stay afloat, and had to continually prove myself to earn even a chance to compete. That period tested my resolve and taught me the value of perseverance, grit, and self-belief.

If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house, what would it be?

Olive Garden.

What is your favorite snack food?

Flipz chocolate-covered pretzels.

What is your degree in?

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Management, along with a sports marketing certificate, which I will receive in December 2025.

If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

My grandfather on my father’s side, whom I was named after he passed before I was born, and I would cherish the chance to learn about his life and legacy. Kobe Bryant, whose tenacity and “Mamba Mentality” have always inspired me to push my limits. And Muhammad Ali, whose conviction, character, and ability to overcome adversity continue to motivate me on and off the field.

What is your biggest weakness?

I can be overly self-critical, holding myself to exceptionally high standards. While this drives my ambition and work ethic, I sometimes have to remind myself to be patient with my growth and not let perfectionism hinder my confidence or progress.
