Overcoming my ankle injury during my sophomore year was one of the toughest challenges I’ve ever faced. What started as a simple play turned into months of setbacks, pain, and long days in rehab. Sitting out for an entire season while watching my teammates compete was heartbreaking—it tested me mentally and emotionally. There were days I questioned if I’d ever get back to where I was, but I refused to give up. I committed to the grind, leaned on my support system, and used that time to grow stronger—not just physically, but mentally.
