Report: NFL Draft Prospect and LSU WR Kyren Lacy passed away last night

According to Nick Underhill, Kyren Lacy the star LSU football player passed away last night.
Kyren Lacy, a wide receiver from LSU, declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, but his draft stock has been significantly impacted by legal issues.
Initially projected as a potential top-50 pick and even a possible first-round selection, Lacy is now facing charges of negligent homicide and felony hit-and-run related to a fatal accident. While his talent as a receiver is still acknowledged, his legal situation raises significant concerns for NFL teams.
Lacy spent three seasons at LSU after starting his college career at Louisiana. He broke out over the past two seasons, with 30 catches for 558 yards and seven TDs in 2023. In 2024, Lacy had 58 catches for 866 yards and nine touchdowns. He was LSU’s second-leading WR in yards and had a team-leading nine touchdown catches.
There are reports out there that Lacy took his own life, we have not confirmed these reports. We are still working on these reports, but Nick Underhill has been breaking LSU and New Orleans Saints news for a long time and is very connected. This is such a travesty.
