What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
Experience and love for the game. I have played 6 years of college football. 4 years as a backup at the SEC level and sat behind 2 NFL quarterbacks. I have also spent 2 years as a starter and won back-to-back conference championships, being responsible for 56 touchdowns.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I am self-aware of the situations in QB rooms but also committed to development. I want to be a guy that a team wants in their room to help positively push the room but knows his role and can develop to play a role in the future.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would donate to the Ovarian research alliance because my aunt passed away from it, and my sister just got diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.
Who was your role model?
I would say my role model is Tom Brady because we have both been doubted. tall, lanky, smart quarterbacks who are competitors that will do anything to win.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
I do not have a favorite NFL team. I believe that is because I am from Mississippi.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Chris Hunter Jr. is a linebacker who has a tremendous feel for the game of football and is also a competitor.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
I hate hearing things like music, people talking, construction, or loud vehicles when I am sleeping.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
Dr. Julia Welch was one of my business teachers at Ole Miss, and she was able to find the happy medium with getting the class’ attention and making class interesting but still getting through the material she needed to teach.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character. What was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Growing up in Mississippi, I wanted to play for Ole Miss my entire life. I played backup my entire career and had to get myself to move on and prove that I can play football at a high level elsewhere.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house, what would it be?
Waffle House
What is your favorite snack food?
I don’t really snack. I am intentional when I eat.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Alexander the Great, Marcus Aurelius, Jesus Christ. One of the greatest generals of all time to learn offensive strategy. A stoic, defensive leader. The son of the creator of the universe paid the ultimate price.
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is that I like being a “Jack of all trades.” I want to know everything about everything. Sometimes, it is a disadvantage due to the overwhelming amount of information.
