2026 NFL Draft Prospect Interview: Javonte Kinsey, WR, Campbell
- Name: Javonte Kinsey
- Position: WR
- College: Campbell University
- Height: 6’5
- Weight: 215 lbs.
Who is the NFL player you compare yourself the most to? Why is that?
I compare myself to Davante Adams because the speed is not 4.3, but my route running is what I feel like gets me open and separates me from most
What aspects of playing in the NFL do you find to be intriguing?
It’s always been a goal of mine since I knew what the NFL was. The excitement behind each game, playing with and against the best of the best, also making money while doing it.
In what ways have you improved since last season?
The ways I improved since last season I would say my speed and routes. I had to slim up to play WR again and then get back use to the game speed I have to play with while at WR. Also, by learning more about the game of football and dissecting the defense to better help me run my routes based off what the defense is showing me.
What is your favorite memory so far as a college football player?
My favorite memory as a college football player I would say when I played at Bowling green and I scored my first touchdown against Ohio University. Another one would be against Minnesota when we beat them 14-10 at their place after being a 31 point underdog.
What is the most important thing you would like NFL scouts, coaches and general managers to know about you?
I want them to know that I am a player that will give his all no matter what circumstance I am in, as well as, that I am a player that can be a vertical threat and well as medium and short yardage threat. Also, that I am a great person on and off the field and a great teammate. I grew up with a single mother, just me and my brother and sister in Jacksonville, Florida doing whatever it takes to make it and pay my mom back for al she’s done.
