Pittman’s Pocket: Hula Bowl HBCU Alumni signs as a UDFA with the Broncos
The Hula Bowl nailed it again this year, with great work from the HBCU Hula Bowl Scout team and the entire Hula Bowl Scouting staff, highlighted by the selection of FAMU’s Kendall Bohler.
Bohler, a standout from Florida A&M, has signed with the Denver Broncos and Head Coach Sean Payton. The Broncos are getting a hard-working young man who plays fast, decisively, and instinctively. He’s a sure tackler in open space and simply knows how to win. Denver made a smart move picking up Bohler out of Tallahassee following the conclusion of the NFL Draft.
I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to serve as the Hula Bowl HBCU Scout over the past two years, and I’m looking forward to even greater opportunities to continue scouting and supporting HBCU talent.
