Former Nebraska Football Player Killed in a Head-on Crash with a Semi

Everyone remembers Danny Noonan, and if you were a football fan of Nebraska you would know Danny had a brother David and the Noonan Brothers were stars in Nebraska back in the 90’s.
David Noonan the former football standout from 1989 to 1993 was killed in a head on collision with a semi-truck over the weekend.
According to police reports, the 53-year-old hit a semi-truck head on Sunday. It happened at Highway 34 and 310th Street. The driver of the semi went to the hospital with minor injuries.
The younger brother of Husker star and former NFL player Danny Noonan would become a strength and conditioning coach for the Omaha Lancers hockey team, and also Nebraska at Omaha’s first director of Sports Performance.
David was a gentle giant who was lost too early. Please keep the Noonan family in your prayers during this tough time.
