BYU Cougars Add Star High School Prospect Brock Harris

BYU fans get ready to grab your remote and turn your tv on, Coach Sitake just made the 2026 season one to watch for the Cougars. Monday April 7, 2025 the Scholastic All-American Brock Harris, arguably one of the best high school tight ends in the country, committed to Brigham Young University. Most football fans may have never heard of this young man until now, and I usually do not cover high school football but this young man is absolutely phenomenal.
In my interview with Brock and his parents Todd and Andrea, I asked him what was it about BYU that stood out over the other 39 schools, and he told me that the relationships that he has built there since 8th grade summer camps and their offensive schemes using their tight ends were the main attractants. He also told me that his Faith had a lot to do with it as well.
So what makes Brock Harris special? The breakdown:

His size, strong hands, and route-running abilities make him a significant threat in the passing game, while his physicality allows him to contribute effectively in the running game. While not yet an elite athlete in terms of pure speed, continued development in this area could make him an even more dominant player at the next level. He has the potential to make an early impact on the Cougars’ offense.
