New England Patriots sign Stefon Diggs to three year deal worth up to $69 Million
On Tuesday evening the New England Patriots took the league by storm and got young signal caller Drake Maye, an established veteran wide receiver in Stefon Diggs, the 31-year-old receiver may be coming off an ACL injury but is on pace to be ready to start playing by week one according to Adam Schefter. It is a three year deal worth up to $69 Million, a hefty payday for the star wide receiver.
In 2024-25 Diggs recorded 47 receptions for 496 yards and three touchdowns with the Houston Texans before suffering a torn ACL. The 31-year-old receiver has been a solid runner for the majority of his career, Diggs creates space for his quarterback to find him open.
Stefon Diggs coming to New England has taken the league by storm, getting Drake Maye another wide receiver is huge news. The New England Patriots have a wide age range of wide outs on the team, Bringing Diggs to the team only improves the veteran leadership and can be a great role model for the younger wide receivers.
