2026 High School Prospect Scouting Report: Patrick Harding, QB, The Villages High School (FL)

I have been scouting football for years, and I feel Patrick Harding should have at least 30 offers right now. As someone who has specialized in small school scouting for the past fifteen years, I feel Harding possesses some insane touch on his passes. I have been able to watch this kid up close and personal and cannot understand how he has zero offers. I think every FCS school in the country should be on this kid. I feel he is a 3 star prospect, but since they are not using stars on good players we are going to make him a 3-Diamond Prospect.

Let’s break down his film!

Position: Quarterback
Height/Weight: 6’3, 185 pounds
Class: 2026

Strengths:

• Strong football IQ with excellent field awareness.
• Displays athleticism at times, showcasing quick reactions and solid footwork.
• Known for his leadership qualities on and off the field.
• Demonstrates consistent effort and has amazing ball placement and touch.

Areas for Improvement:

• Could benefit from refining specific position techniques.
• Increasing physical strength and endurance may further elevate his game.

Outlook:

Patrick Harding has the potential to develop into a key contributor at the next level. With his strong understanding of the game and natural athletic ability, continued growth in the weight room and on the field should position him well for success.

Projection:

He is a low level FBS quarterback, someone who could come in and compete at the G5 level, he would become an instant impact player right now at the FCS level. He could end up becoming a Jerry Rice Award Winner at the FCS level. He has a very high IQ, can deliver the ball well, and understands the game. He should easily have 30 offers from FCS schools. I am not sure how he keeps getting overlooked. Scouts will be pouring in for the Spring, I guarantee it!
