The 2025 NFL may be the Most Intriguing NFL Draft Ever!
This 2025 NFL Draft, is probably the most impressive in some time, for many reasons. It doesn’t have deep STAR QB power or depth for the fans or the NFL to advertise over or debate over. Honestly, they all have some question marks.
You truly have 6 players that are a cut above who are just a cut above Travis Hunter, Abdul Carter, Will Campbell, Ashton Jeanty, Tyler Warren, and Mason Graham.
These are the safest picks for teams in the top 10. So this is the biggest draft class due to the addition of COVID-19 year that was added to every player.
So Scouts, GMs, AGENTS, and Fans have to look at other factors when looking at these players for this draft. For instance the amount of games played and how impactful players were in those games. In my opinion, this QB Class has NO 1st Rd QB.
I believe there are 6 to 8 QBs that if teams are patient will be high-quality starters for many years, Also may be the most productive QB class more so than the 83 class.
McCord, Dart, Howard, Cook, Ewers, and Leonard are the safest because of where they will be selected, and if in the right situation which is a veteran already in place these QBs will be the most effective.
The 2 QBs that have been pushed into the 1st RD Sanders and Ward these two players have the most risk versus reward of any players in the draft. My opinion on Shedeur Sanders is simple, if you don’t get Travis Hunter he will be a bust.
Hunter is special he has the ability to make other players around him better. Sanders threw a lot of bad balls and Hunter was able to make unbelievable catches. Sanders would throw the same balls at his other WRs and they would get hurt. Also at Colorado, Sanders had no check-down game so he has a lot of mechanical and offensive learning to do before he is ready. With him going in the early picks will hurt him and the organization.
Ward has the most risk vs reward of any player in this draft. So this is the most intriguing position of the draft. This Draft is the one I feel the NFL has been waiting for because if you have a half-decent draft you could become a playoff team with the ability to fill so many holes with this amount of depth.
This draft could make the perennial post-season teams separate themselves from the pack. The one thing is for sure we have seen very poor scouting over the past several years and this Draft will expose poor GMs and scouts alike.
Every position has depth, a look at some border playoff teams in Pittsburgh keeping a vet 2nd or 3rd QB of the future Howard makes sense also O-line issues they should get 2 starters out of this draft.
This is a draft for teams that have major salary cap issues like Dallas, and New Orleans. So these are some of the intriguing things to look for in this draft during and after. This Draft will be one talked about and graded for many years to come.
