Court Orders former Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell to pay 25 Million in Sexual Abuse Case

A woman in Ohio claims she was repeatedly sexually abused as a child by two of her relatives, and one of them just happens to be a very famous former NFL player.
According to the reports, a court decided the woman is owed more than 36 million dollars in damages after claiming she was sexually assaulted by Le’Veon Bell Sr. and his brother La’Vonte Bell.
The jury decided that 20 million in compensatory damages and 5 million for punitive damages should be paid to her from Le’Veon, with 11 million in damages from his brother La’Vonte.
Le’Veon Bell’s attorney Thomas W. Shaffer released this statement regarding the allegations.
“My client adamantly denies any and all allegations that have been lodged against him. Further, he was never served with a civil complaint or any documents. The default judgment granted was based upon violations of his Fifth Amendment rights of due process for failing to be served. My client is in the process of filing a motion to open and reverse the default judgment because the narratives of the case have never been litigated.”
If true, the case is sick. It claims that Le’Veon and his brother had a sexual relationship with the woman from the time she was 6 years old until becoming an adult.
The woman claims that Le’Veon would continue to assault her when he was in the NFL.
The woman filed a report with Columbus police in October 2022 accusing the Bell brothers of sexual assault,
