High School Football Player Arrested after dropping “Diss Track” against a teammate who he lost a fight against

This is the most 2025 title ever! Yes, you cannot make this up, a football player in Georgia was arrested and charged for terroristic threats/acts after posting a diss track on Instagram.
According to reports, Cortez Lyles an 18-year-old football player in Conyers, Georgia lost a fight with a fellow teammate at Heritage High School, and rather than retaliating, he went home and made a diss track.
His parents say he chose to make a song rather than fighting the teammate, claiming it is not worth it, but the police do not see it the same way.
Lyles was arrested in February after the Mother of the other player called police and pressed charges.
The standout defensive back Lyles is now hoping the charges will be dropped. Lyles claims his teammate attacked him and left him with a knot on the top of his head. Rather than fighting he makes a diss track and the mother of the other kid (abuser) basically presses charges.
Read the lyrics and let me know what you think?
Imma beat his ***
Drop a diss
and then I’ll take his *****
Get a body bag or save his ***
’cause I ain’t sparing ****
I’m a scorpion
The Lyles family hopes the parents can talk this situation out and drop the charges. To be honest, this would be the best thing they can do. They are young kids, this is stupid. Talk like grown folks, and do not call the damn police for everything.
This is the best way to kill both of their chances to play college football, because now both kids have a red flag on them, and one has an arrest.
