What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Just the love of the game growing up.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Winning the first championship ever at my high school, winning a national championship in JUCO and playing in a bowl game at Southern Miss.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

To get around some veterans and learn from them and teach young kids and play in the NFL.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Reggie White or Aaron Donald, just because both were powerful players.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom, just because of how hard she works.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

Four down front, just because I can play ball.

What should we know about DeMeco Roland the person?

I got an outgoing character, and I love to enjoy and have fun with whatever I do.

What stands out about your film the most?

I get off the ball and make explosive plays and get into the backfield and pick up double teams.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

A challenge is just another thing because I’m a competitor and a challenge is just an obstacle and I’ll never quit to get through it.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A disruptive nose guard and I’m a guy that takes pressure off the linebackers and a guy who makes plays in the backfield at the nose guard position.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love that I can be a competitor and get the ball, and I love being out there and the aggression that I’m allowed to play with.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Trey Pinkney, he’s a linebacker at Southern Miss and he’s one of those guys who’s going to fill that gap.
