Chargers LB Daiyan Henley’s father accused of killing his former teammate in California

Daiyan Henley has become a household name as a star linebacker in the NFL, but it is not Daiyan that is in the news this week.
Daiyan’s father Eugene “Big U” Henley has been arrested and charged with running a criminal enterprise in South Los Angeles and is linked to the brutal murder of Rayshawn Williams. It is believed that Eugene Henley is the leader of the Rolling 60 Crips.
Williams was a rapper for Henley’s label, but before that was a teammate of Daiyan at Crenshaw High School in California.
Williams reportedly dissed “Big U” in a song, and federal prosecutors said there’s probable cause to believe Eugene “Big U” Henley, Jr. killed Rayshawn Williams in Las Vegas and dragged his body in the desert.
Eugene Henley, Jr. will remain in federal custody until at least his detention hearing at the end of the month.
If convicted, he could get a life sentence.
