What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I feel like I was born into it, and I’ve been doing it since I was five and it’s something I’m very passionate about.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Going into Georgia Tech in 2023 and beating them on the road and beating Minnesota in 2021 and just the overall team comradery in those moments.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Finding new ways to improve and get better every day and becoming a better football player and person.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Aaron Donald, he is the greatest defensive tackle to play the game of football, and I feel I could learn a lot from his day-to-day life.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mother, I’ve seen her work really hard from when I was young to now and just seeing her get through it day to day really inspired me.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

4-3 or anything with a four-down front, where I can just get up the field and go and not be double teamed.

What should we know about Anthony Hawkins the person?

I’m a very hard worker, I’ll come in and get the job done and I’m very detail-oriented and want to make sure things are done the right way.

What stands out about your film the most?

I think I make plays, and I always find a way to get to the football.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I like to sit down and assess the situation and if I need help, I consult with someone who has been in the same situation.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Somebody who is going to show up, do things the right way and go 100 miles per hour.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

How the game brings people together from all walks of life working towards a common goal. And without football I doubt I would’ve met all these people that changed my life.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

OJ Hiliare, he played with me in 2023, and I’ve seen him do it all from the WR position. Tyrone Broden from Arkansas, he’s a 6′ 7″ receiver and he’s really fast for his size, and I feel like he will impress some people.
