Seven Chileans were Arrested for Robbing Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s Homes

Even Chileans are not fans of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce. According to ABC News, seven men from Chile ranging from the age of 20 to 38 were arrested for stealing property worth more than 2 million dollars from both Kelce and Mahomes’ homes.
They all face up to 10 years in prison, if convicted.
Three of the seven have also been charged in connection with the burglary at the home of Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
Law enforcement officials warned sports leagues last fall that thieves had been striking on game days when they knew the players would not be home, often smashing through rear windows. They broke a window or used a crowbar to get inside the homes, then they would ransack the house.
The theft rings are focused on cash and items that can be resold on the black market, such as jewelry, watches and luxury bags. In January while driving in Ohio were charged Monday with stealing nearly $300,000 worth of designer luggage, watches and jewelry from Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s house.
Pretty wild, but I am glad they were caught!
