How much is the average NFL player paid? | What is the NFL’s Minimum Player Salary?

I get this question a lot and figured I would post about it. The NFL players make a lot of money. It does vary from position, but the average NFL salary is around 3.2 million dollars in 2024, which is up from 2.8 million last season.
The new salary cap is expected to rise again in 2025, and it was expected to go up almost 20 million per team. So this average will continue to grow.

When it comes to the minimum salary, that too also rose. Last year the minimum salary in the NFL was 795,000 dollars. This amount will rise to 870,000 and in year three rises to 940,000 dollars.
