What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Just growing up watching football on Sunday with my dad and then he introduced me to flag football and at 3 or 4 years old I knew I wanted to be a football player.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

In 2022 Coach Helton’s first year at Georgia Southern and we went to Nebraska and won in a shootout, and this past season against Marshall we came back in the fourth quarter and beat them 24-23 and Georgia Southern got a pick six to win the game and in 2022 against a ranked, undefeated JMU, and we ended their perfect season.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Prepare for my pro day and be in the best shape mentally and physically and make it to the NFL and continuing to extend my career and take care of my family.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Saquon Barkley, even back to Penn State he was my favorite running back to watch, and how he went from the Giants to the Eagles I would love to pick his brain about that and also how he rushed for the most yards in a single season this past year.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

Both my mom and my dad inspire me. Seeing my mom take care of me and my brother, whenever my dad would be stationed somewhere else or deployed and I know that wasn’t easy for her, but she made sure we were good. My dad is the hardest working man I’ve ever seen in my life, and he’s made plenty of sacrifices, I know it wasn’t easy for him to be away from his family for periods of time when I was younger because of the military but he did whatever it took to make sure his family was taken care of. Seeing them be great parents and role models just makes me strive to be better

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

My favorite offensive scheme is an air raid offense out of the shotgun, that includes a strong run game. I enjoy this offense because as a running back the passing game opens up the run because you’ll start to see lighter boxes. I really enjoy gap schemes.

What should we know about Jalen White the person?

I am a very chill down to earth guy, I enjoy finding things to do but also enjoy staying in and watching tv/movies or playing the game. If you don’t know me for real, at first, you’d think I’m quiet but those who know me the best know I can talk a lot and like to joke around.

What stands out about your film the most?

I get downhill quick, I’m a violent runner, make you miss in tight spaces, and I just wear defenses down.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I try to handle challenges on the field and off the field in the same fashion, I try to take them head on and with a level head. I try to be as swift as possible, so challenges don’t stick around too long.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A hard worker, who brings the standard, comes to work every day and raises the play of my teammates and a competitor, who will uplift my team every day.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

What I love most about the game of football is the camaraderie, the brotherhood. You meet people as strangers and become very close amongst each other, you become family. I love the process, the early morning, the cold winters, competitive springs, hot summers, the shared suffering, everything. The journey of season, it’s just extremely hard not to love football. There’s just so much emotion put into this game.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Derwin Burgess Jr, wide receiver from Georgia Southern coming out this draft as well, I just fell no one can compete with him when he’s on the field and he puts in a lot of work like me and he’s highly underrated.
