Ashley Marie Darity, 34, was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in the August 2024 deaths of Rosman High School football players Layne Jones and Jayden Reynaldo.
Jones and Reynaldo were both football players at Rosman High School in Transylvania County, located about 40 miles southwest of Asheville.
Darity was a substitute teacher at Transylvania County School District. Darity was arrested by ALE special agents, but they did not disclose the details that led to her charges.
