Christman was found dead in an off-campus apartment Tuesday morning. Ben Christman was a big time recruit in the 2021 Class who signed with Ohio State out of high school. He transferred to Kentucky in 2022 before transferring to UNLV.
The university said it didn’t have other details and that the Clark County Coroner’s Office would determine a cause of death.
Christman, an Akron, Ohio, native, was born Feb. 12, 2003, according to his recruiting profiles. He was a day short of his 22nd birthday.
Dan Mullen made Christman one of his first signings in the transfer portal, he said Christman was a big, fast, and physical offensive lineman.
