Colorado State Football Coach Suspected of Sexual Assault | Police Looking for Other Victims

Aaron Moore a former Colorado State football player who was reportedly working for the team as a Defensive Analyst turned himself into police on an arrest warrant for felony sexual assault this week.

An adult female, reported an incident to Fort Collins Police back in May of 2024, that Moore a former player at CSU sexually assaulted her while she was incapacitated. After socializing and drinking with a group of friends in downtown Fort Collins, the two had shared a ride to Moore’s residence, where the assault took place.

After reviewing evidence and interviewing multiple witnesses to that evening’s progression, detectives requested an arrest warrant for Moore on the following charges:

· Class 3 Felony – Sexual Assault, victim is physically helpless

· Class 4 Felony – Sexual Assault, victim is unable to appraise their conduct

Moore turned himself into Larimer County Jail, and a $5,000 cash bond was set the same afternoon.

Moore came to CSU as part of Steve Addazio’s 2020 class, one of the best-rated recruits in the group after starring in high school in Tennessee. After suffering multiple injuries, Moore was able to become a student intern and land a job as a Defensive Analyst with the team.
