Former NFL First-Round Draft Pick Kadarius Toney Arrested for Strangling a Female

Kadarius Toney the two-time Super Bowl Champion was arrested last week for allegedly strangling a female and preventing her from calling 911.
According to police documents, the former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver was accused of putting his hand around a woman’s throat during a dispute at a Georgia residence on Jan. 14 … and squeezing “with enough force to cause her to be unable to breath.”
Police say, she could not breathe, and the attack left red marks on her neck and hemorrhaging in her eyes. Toney also took the woman’s phone and prevented her from calling 911 during the altercation.
Toney’s bond was set at $25,000 for each charge.
Daniel Kelly a former New York Jets scout wrote an article on Toney before the draft, claiming that Toney would be a GIANT mistake. The New York Giants did not listen and selected him in the first round. The Giants would eventually trade Toney who landed on the Chiefs.
