What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I was always involved in sports when I was young, and I discovered football you can play in any shape and size, and I reached out to my high school coach and he brought me on. I also had a bunch of friends playing who wanted me to play with them.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

2019 I won the CEGEP Bol D’or cup, and this past season beating Concordia to win the Shaughnessy cup.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Be a professional football player and make a nice career out of it and win a Grey Cup.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Joe Thomas, because he was the first football player I looked up to, very imposing and smart player and I’d love to pick his brain. Also, Tom Brady, Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski, I’m sure they have great stories.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My dad, he’s a big influence showing me how to be a tough worker with discipline and has showed me how to have grit and toughness.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Power, it’s a beautiful drawn up play with a fullback and you run up the gut and I get to pancake some players.

What should we know about Domenico Piazza the person?

I’m a nice guy, get along with people, I’m a chameleon and can get along in any situation and I’m a hardworking person, who can talk about food all day long.

What stands out about your film the most?

I get out of my stance quickly, play aggressive and through the whistle, I know a lot about schemes and am very smart and I like to impose myself on defenders.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

With a process over outcome mentality and get the small things right first and eventually everything will work out and control the things you can control.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Very motivated, disciplined player who can play all 5 offensive line positions and do whatever the team needs to be successful and do whatever it takes.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The camaraderie you build in the locker room with your teammates and the life lessons it has taught me till now.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Ryan McNally, who just got a late invite to the regional combine, he is a defensive back, he’s very physical and fast and with the way he plays it’s shocking he didn’t get an invite earlier because he’s a great player.
