Broncos Coach Arrested for Assaulting a Police Officer in Denver

Denver Broncos linebackers coach Michael Wilhoite has been arrested and charged on the suspicion of second-degree assault of a police officer.
Wilhoite was booked on Sunday and will appear in court this morning.
The Broncos organization released this statement:
We are aware of a situation involving Michael Wilhoite that occurred Sunday and are in the process of gathering more information.
The 38-year-old coach is in his second year in Denver as the linebacker’s coach. He was a former player out of Washburn University where he was an outside linebacker and safety.
Wilhoite played for five years in the NFL before becoming a coach.
