Jaguars passing game will run through Brian Thomas Jr. | What to expect in 2025 from BTJ

Brian Thomas Jr. was a dynamic rookie wide receiver last year for the Jacksonville Jaguars, known for his playmaking ability and explosive speed.

With the potential to be a central figure in the Jaguars’ offense, Thomas is expected to be a key target in their passing game. His impressive skill set and versatility make him an exciting addition to the team, and he’s poised to play a major role in Coach Coen’s offensive system.

While Jacksonville has an abundance of talent on its roster, wide receiver BTJ is emerging as a key player who perfectly aligns with Coach Coen’s vision. Thomas is expected to become the centerpiece of the attack Coen is looking to build.

Coen was eager to share his excitement about the plans he has for Thomas, emphasizing how integral the wide receiver will be to the offense.

“Our passing game is going to run through him, and I’m really looking forward to working with him,” Coen said

I would not be surprised if Brian Thomas Jr. racks up 1,500 plus receiving yards next season. Thomas Jr. finished third behind Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson. All three were stars at LSU before entering the NFL.

Thomas only had 87 receptions, which was almost 20 less than Jefferson and was 40 less than Chase. He finished with 10 receiving touchdowns and averaged 14.7 yards per catch.

I wanted Brian Thomas Jr. as a Buffalo Bills fan, I had a feeling he would be special, and he did not disappoint.

I would not be shocked to see BTJ lead the NFL in receptions, touchdowns and yards next season if Coen can get Trevor Lawrence trending in the right direction.
