What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I was born into it and my dad played at Tulsa and I wanted to do whatever he did, and I was watching a Cowboys game, and I told my parents that’s what I wanted to be.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

When I was a sophomore at Southern Arkansas, we played Henderson State who was ranked at the time and the running back in front of me went down and I came in and scored a touchdown and we beat them, and it was a great night for Southern Arkansas.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I want to have the most positive influence on society with my God given ability whether helping the youth or elderly I want to make an impact on society.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Saquon Barkley, he’s a great dude and as a running back I feel he can be a guy that’s a mentor to me that I can learn from a lot.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My dad, he was raised in a very poor neighborhood, and he made it so me and my sister don’t have to ask for much.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

West coast, it’s fast paced and spreads the defense out laterally, which opens up deep shots, which opens up the run game.

What should we know about Blake May the person?

I can get along with just about anybody, I’m a very charismatic guy, I always have a smile on my face, and I always want to put smiles on people’s faces.

What stands out about your film the most?

My physicality, whether I’m blocking or running the ball, I’m going to be the most physical person out there on the field.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

First, I send it to God and then I take it on with a full head of steam to handle adversity.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Someone who is going to emerge as a leader and be the best version of himself to help the team.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love how much it resembles life and handling adversity, practicing year-round and for college where you play 11 games, if you are healthy and everything you have to do to be successful at it.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Soona from Southern Arkansas, every time we threw him a ball, he would get it and that’s what made him so good as the X receiver.
