What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
My older brother was into football, and I was bigger than most kids and I saw JJ Watt and I fell in love with it.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Playing an away game in Alberta and the crowd was taunting me saying ” I didn’t deserve number 99″ and the next drive I had a strip sack.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I’d like to sign a pro contract and fulfilling my goal of playing at the next level either down south or the CFL.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
JJ Watt, I grew up idolizing him and I’d love to learn from him and gain some insight especially since i centered my game around his.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My brother, I grew up idolizing him watching him play and he ended up being my biggest supporter.
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
Blitz or 4-man front, so I can pin my ears back and attack the quarterback.
What should we know about Aiden Bertuzzi the person?
I’m a hardworking person and I have a lot of empathy and like helping people around me.
What stands out about your film the most?
My consistency in stopping the run and completing my assignment and making clutch plays especially in the run.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
Whenever adversity happens it happens for a reason and gives me an opportunity to learn.
What would a team get in a player like you?
My mindset going into football is giving 110 percent every play and never giving up which is important for a defensive end to develop a high motor.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
I love being able to have controlled aggression and going out and playing and using football as my output for my own therapy.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Jason Soriano, defensive back and wide receiver, made a huge impact playing both sides of the ball and makes a huge impact wherever you put him in at.
