What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

At an early age, the game was introduced to me by my whole family. I have a football family and that’s what I wanted to do.

2021 at UTEP we had our best season in over ten years and beat Fresno State in the New Mexico Bowl and this past season at Temple was all-conference.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

It’s always been a dream of mine to play professionally, UFL, CFL, and definitely NFL and I just want to reach my full potential.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Darrelle Revis is one of the best cornerbacks to have ever played and he had one of the best seasons ever I’d love to get some tips from him and pick his brain.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My Mom knows my love for the game and how hard I work, and she wants to see me reach my full potential as well.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

Cover 2, because I can use my instincts and make a quarterback think a player is open and I can intimidate the quarterback.

What should we know about Torey Richardson the person?

I’m a great teammate before everything else. Put others before myself and I put the team first.

What stands out about your film the most?

My cover skills, I covered a lot in college, and my physicality shows up when I’m stopping the run game.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I always like to look adversity in the face and take it head-on both in life and on the football field.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Somebody who is committed to getting better every day and doing whatever the team needs to be successful.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The ultimate team sport and one man can’t win the game and the camaraderie and brotherhood of the sport.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Tyrice Knight, got drafted in the 4th round but in my mind, he was a 1st rounder because he did everything well.
