What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
When I was younger I was huge into watching college football with friends, watching guys like Todd Gurley, Money Manziel and Leonard Fournette the swagger and fun they brought to the game kind of was my deciding factor to be a football player
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
My favorite moments from my football life was winning our program a bowl game my freshman year. Reason why is because it set the foundation for those next 3 years to win the conference back to back to back.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I’m looking to achieve an opportunity to showcase my talent at a higher level, but to also put on for the smaller school up north and show the talent that we can provide.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
It would have to be prime time Deion Sanders, reason why is because he is such a good leader in all aspects not just football but life in itself. He has a mentality that’s just contagious.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My mother inspires me the most, reason why is because she is just the most selfless hardworking person I know. She didn’t have it easy growing up or during the times she was raising me and my sister but she’s a fighter and always find a way.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
Spread offensive scheme has to be my favorite, there’s just something about having dynamic players out in space making plays.
What should we know about Marvens Jean the person?
Marvens Jean the person is someone who’s a selfless and hard working leader that gets it done by example. Very detailed and determined in all that he does, lastly someone that dedicates everything to inspire and provide for his family and friends.
What stands out about your film the most?
What stands out about me on film is how nimble and smooth of a runner I am. Also my vision and second level moves.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
The ways I handle challenges in life on and off the field is pretty simple. I take some time to digest the situation and handle it the best way I see fit, I think about whether it’s in my control or not, and just try to do what’s right.
What would a team get in a player like you?
What a team would get in a player like me is a very physical athlete that loves to compete and win. Someone who is eager to learn and just a straight up playmaker.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
What I love most about the game of football is honestly the people that it has allowed me to meet. I’ve gained countless brothers from this sport that I’m forever grateful for.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Most underrated player I’ve played with is tough toss up but I got to give it to my teammate Henry Doane an offensive lineman. He was considered undersized at the position but it never fazed him. Was always able to hold his own at the tackle position
