Mike Vrabel has moved quickly since taking over the New England Patriots as Head Coach, Vrabel hired Josh McDaniels on January 22nd, 2025 (Tuesday) and hired Terrell Williams to be the teams defensive coordinator on January 23rd, 2025 (Wednesday).

Josh McDaniels was one of the better offensive coordinators on the market and has proven his ability to be a successful coordinator, back in the 2021 New England Patriots season McDaniels helped coach a rookie Mac Jones to a 10 – 7 season and a playoff berth. In 2021 the Patriots were ranked as the 15th best offense with the young coordinator.  McDaniels won a few Super Bowls as the Patriots Offensive Coordinator, now the 48-year-old is back in New England to work with the young star signal caller, Drake Maye.

Terrell Williams, the former Detroit Lions Defensive Line coach is now the man in charge of the New England Patriots defense, Williams worked with Vrabel a few years back with the Tennessee Titans from 2018 – 2023. In Detroit, Williams helped coach the Lions defensive line to roughly 30 sacks this season in total. The 50-year-old coach is going to have a lot to work with on the Patriots roster, Christian Gonzalez (DB), Brenden Schooler (DB), Keion White (DE), Ja’Whaun Bentley (LB), and many other talented players on the roster.

Mike Vrabel got his coordinators, Free Agency and the Draft are on the horizon. The New England Patriots are moving swiftly to make this team successful as it once was.
