What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
My ability to make plays in any situation sets me apart. Whether playing inside or outside, my versatility offers teams flexibility in how I can contribute. My mindset is fueled by a relentless desire to be different—constantly seeking knowledge and pushing myself toward greatness. I’m committed to improving not just for myself, but for the team’s benefit, always striving to elevate the overall standard of performance.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
NFL teams should know they’re getting a player who goes above and beyond, both on and off the field. I’m relentless in my pursuit of success and willing to do whatever it takes to win, whether it’s leading by example, motivating my teammates, or overcoming challenges. I bring a competitive “dog mentality” to every situation while prioritizing making those around me better. My goal is not just personal success but also raising the level of greatness for the entire team.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would donate to cancer research and support programs because the cause is deeply personal to me. My father passed away from cancer this year, and witnessing its impact on him and my family has made me passionate about supporting others facing similar battles.
Who was your role model?
My mother is my role model. She embodies resilience, sacrifice, and strength and has always been my greatest supporter. Her ability to face life’s challenges with grace inspires me to stay grounded and relentless in my own journey.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
I’ve never had a favorite NFL team. Growing up, I wanted to avoid bias because I’ve always envisioned myself playing at the professional level, regardless of where that journey takes me. My focus has always been on the game, not individual teams.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Evan Martin is the most underrated player on our team. His incredible work ethic, consistency, and team-first mentality make him invaluable. I believe he’ll make a significant impact, and I hope his contributions get the recognition they deserve.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is when someone starts to say something but doesn’t finish their thought. I value clear communication and believe it’s essential both in life and on the field.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
Mrs. Martin from Betsy Ross was my favorite teacher. She had a unique way of connecting with students while challenging us to think critically. Her passion and support left a lasting impact on me.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character. What was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
The hardest moment in my life was recovering from surgery while supporting my dad during his battle with cancer. Balancing my physical recovery with the emotional strain of watching him fight was incredibly challenging. It taught me resilience, gratitude, and the importance of perseverance in the face of adversity.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house, what would it be?
I’d choose Whataburger. The food is unbeatable, and it’s been one of my favorites for as long as I can remember.
What is your favorite snack food?
Goldfish. They’ve been my go-to snack for years—simple but always satisfying.
What is your degree in?
I earned my degree in Sociology. It’s given me a deeper understanding of people, communities, and how to connect with others—skills that are valuable both on and off the field.
If you could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
1. Tavon Austin – He’s my favorite wide receiver of all time. His electrifying style of play inspired me growing up, and I’d love to learn about his mindset and approach to the game.
2. Tom Brady – As the GOAT, I’d pick his brain about how he maintained such dominance and consistency over two decades.
3. LeBron James – He’s my favorite athlete ever and an example of sustained greatness. I admire his work ethic, leadership, and how he carries himself as both an athlete and businessman.
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness is when someone procrastinates on something they’ve committed to or when they’re about to say something but decide not to follow through with it. I value clear communication and accountability, both on and off the field. It’s something I try to model myself, and while I can’t control others, I’ve learned to stay focused on my responsibilities and lead by example to help create a culture of trust and follow-through.
