What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
What makes me a top prospect is being a versatile athlete which allows me to play all over the field. I am able to cover man-to-man, and in a zone while also being a sound tackler, showing up big in the run game. I can also bring pressure and get home to the quarterback on blitzes. By having these skills I am a player that can adapt to whatever my team needs me to do.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
I am a leader on and off the field. While in college I was selected captain 3 times giving me multiple years to learn and grow in a leadership role. It has made me look at the game in a different way and how my actions influence others, causing me to give my best effort in everything I do.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
I would donate to help find a cure for breast cancer because I lost my Grandma to breast cancer so if I can help others from experience that I would.
Who was your role model?
My dad is my role model. He always finds a way to get things done and puts his family first. No matter what I need, I know I can go to him and he is going to do whatever it takes to help find an answer. I have seen this man work for everything and he instilled that in me. So I am very grateful for everything he does for me.
Who is your favorite NFL team?
Being from Michigan it’s got to be the Lions.
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Up until recently it was Jo Norris III. He is a very skilled cornerback who was overlooked due to his punt return skills. Finally, he got the recognition he deserved and will be cemented in Heidelberg’s history.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
When someone calls me but as I get to the phone it hangs up, so I call them right back and then they don’t answer. Like how do you not pick up a second after you try to call me? I know they still have the phone in their hands.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
My favorite teacher would be from High School Mr. Anderson. He just happened to be my coach as well so during football season we watched a lot of movies.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
It would have to be when my Uncle passed away. I was younger at the time but he was always at my sporting events and was a big part of my life. With that being said the part that affected me the most was seeing my mom react when she received that call. She was devastated and it was a point where I felt like the day would never end. Getting over that was hard and it drove me to become the best footballer player that I can be. I play in his honor, he is the reason why I wear the number 21.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
Red Robin. You can never go wrong with the Royal Red Robin burger
What is your favorite snack food?
Any gummy-type candy. The Jolly Rancher’s very berry gummy is the one I am hooked on right now.
What is your degree in?
Psychology
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
Calvin Johnson because he was my favorite player growing up. My uncle because I would want to really get to know him and hear his stories. Lastly, Michael Jordan because he is a champion and knows exactly what it takes to be great.
What is your biggest weakness?
I would say my weakness would be my size. However, I make up for this with IQ and by putting myself in a position to succeed.
