Justin Lewis is a Graduate Transfer and was a Quarterback for the Merrimack Warriors and has now entered the transfer portal with one – two years left of eligibility. Lewis was a three-star Quarterback coming out of High School on the 247 Sports Website. The signal caller stands at 6-foot-1, 200-pound, and brings good leadership qualities, the ability to read defenses with good decision making, getting the ball out quickly, solid mobility and pocket awareness. The young quarterback will make an impact on just about any quarterback room.

I got the chance to ask Justin Lewis a few questions:

  1. What should college programs know about Justin Lewis?

Justin Lewis responded with: “I’m a very hard worker and a competitor. If I’m going to do anything it has to be at 100%. Whether it’s in the film room, weight room, classroom, practice or game day, I have to give it my all and live with no regrets. Whenever you attack this game with that mindset, it becomes contagious in a program and elevates the standard.”

  1. What makes you stand out from other Quarterbacks?

Lewis would go on to say: “I never like to compare myself to others because we all run our own race. But I think my arm talent, and athletic ability gives me an advantage. Being able to make big time throws and make plays with my legs when needed is what makes the difference in big moments. But one of the most important things is my leadership and character. As a quarterback everyone’s looking at you so it is crucial to lead by example both on and off the field, representing your family and team with class.”
