What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?

My athleticism, snapping skill, and size combined with my ability to perform under pressure. Going to the Colorado School of Mines, I was able to obtain a world-class education in Engineering along with some of the best coaching, specific to specialists, in the world. Along with coaching, I was able to fully utilize my size and athletic ability covering punts for the best punter in the nation. During my time at Mines, I got to play for 2 National Championships allowing me to gain experience playing in high-stress environments where I not only succeeded but excelled under pressure.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I wrestled in high school and have never backed down from a challenge. Using my background in wrestling, I understand leverage and torque in ways most don’t, and gives me an advantage when blocking within a pro-style punt unit.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

Breast Cancer Awareness/Research. Cancers of all kinds hit close to home as I have lost loved ones to them and watched their fights. In 2024 my mother had to undergo successful chemo, radiation, and surgery for aggressive stage 3c, breast cancer which had very low survival rates 10 years ago. So, I’ve seen how life-changing recent advancements are and would love for others to get their own second chance at life with their family.

Who was your role model?

Growing up it was my father as he was the one who instilled hard work and a strong faith in Jesus Christ. Recently, it would be my mother as she is wrapping up a yearlong battle with stage 3c breast cancer. Although treatment was not easy, she fought like no one I’ve ever met and still managed to make a majority of my games for my senior season.

Who is your favorite NFL team?

Growing up in West Virginia, we were between so many NFL teams that I couldn’t choose one. I mainly stuck to cheering on the West Virginia Mountaineers every Saturday with my family.

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

There are so many guys on the team that aren’t quite given the recognition they deserve. One that sticks out the most is Hayden Gregg at linebacker because he goes in day by day putting in the work with no expectation to be congratulated on his accomplishments. He’s been an integral part of our defense for 3 seasons and still doesn’t get the accolades he deserves.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

When someone doesn’t keep their word.

Who is your favorite teacher ever?

Anita Byrd was my anatomy teacher in high school and was one of a few teachers who helped push me to strive for the highest possible outcome. Going to a school like the Colorado School of Mines was no easy task but her classes prepared me how to study get beaten down by tests and come back better. Mrs. Byrd and her brother James Broslawsky (biology teacher in high school) pushed me to pursue engineering and this great school. Without their guidance and input, I don’t know if I would have pushed so hard in school to get accepted at Mines.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

This past semester/season. I have been an active leader in my church’s college ministry putting in around 8 hours a week for events or planning. The football season includes travel, meetings, games, practices, and workouts; all adding to over 25-30 hours a week. I am also currently studying to obtain my Masters in Nuclear Science and Engineering which demands the majority of my time. All of this was happening while my mother was fighting for her life with cancer.  During her treatments, I along with my dad and sister took turns taking her to chemo appointments. I wanted to spend any remaining time with her that I could. While balancing all this, I was able to make the honor roll, be a prominent leader in my college ministry, have a stellar senior season, and help my mother defeat cancer!

If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?

Chick-fil-A because their waffle fries and frozen lemonades alone could feed me for years.

What is your favorite snack food?

Dots homestyle pretzels. If you know what they are, then they need no explanation. Any flavor.

What is your degree in?

BS Electrical Engineering (received May 2024)

ME Nuclear Science and Engineering (started Jan 2024, completing May 2025)

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  1. Pat White (my favorite football player growing up)
  2. Robert Oppenheimer (pick his brain on nuclear physics and design)
  3. Jesus Christ (no explanation needed)

What is your biggest weakness?

I am always focused on the next goal and don’t always take time to enjoy the moment.
