What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
My love for the game. My older brother played division one football at Air Force Academy and he helped me fall in love with the game. And I love the process to become the best player I can be and being a role model for others.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Going JUCO I was able to learn so much and it helped drive my passion for the game and and signing with Wofford a division one team and getting all conference this past season.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
The best version of myself and take myself as far as I can and give back to others, have fun and play the game I love.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?
Lamar Jackson, love the way he carries himself and the swagger he plays with is cool, calm and collected and the way he does that is next level and his work ethic is strong.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My older brother played division one football and from that I was able to see the hard work and dedication he put in and all the hard work it took for him to get to a division one team was next level.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
Air Raid, I’m a hybrid tight end and I love going up and making plays and I feel that is the offense that suits me the best to display my talents.
What should we know about Jordan Davis the person?
I’m a very caring person, have a huge heart and want the best for everybody, I’m a leader, a workhorse and I demand excellence from everybody including myself.
What stands out about your film the most?
My versatility, in my film you see me doing everything. Good routes, going up and getting the ball, blocking and physicality in the run game and my ability to pass protect.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
First going to God and then going to people I trust and admire who I think will lead me into the right direction.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A dominant ballhawk who can play in the box, slot or outside receiver. A leader, a workhorse, a playmaker and someone that loves the game.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
I love the challenge it presents; you get to line up against another man and test their will every game and I love making plays and the brotherhood that comes with the game that you don’t get anywhere else.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Jalen Marshall, he played linebacker at Wofford with me and he’s very overlooked and he’s like top 15 in the stat book and his tape says it all and he can play on any level and was always around the ball.
