Talk about your experience as a student. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?
My experience as a student was great. I have my bachelor’s degree in business management and obtaining my masters in Sports Finance/Management. I didn’t participate in any other activities but I did help design a T-shirt for breast cancer awareness that ended up selling out on campus.

What do you think your teammates would say is your best quality?
I’m very trustworthy and easy to talk to. Most guys didn’t feel comfortable sharing personal information with coaches and a lot of guys would voice things towards me and trust me with that information so I would say that I’m a great listener and reliable person to talk to.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
On my collegiate team I see myself as a leader and mentor. In the backfield I see myself as a unique 3 down back who can fit in any scheme and beat any scheme/coverage that I see. I’m able to stretch the defense, hit the gap, and catch the ball really well to be a threat in the pass game.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
Christian Watson (North Dakota State) Currently with the Packers

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?
Taylon Hensley. He’s physical in the run game, technically sound in pass protection, and he’s one hell of a warrior. I’ve seen him play through injuries that some guys wouldn’t think of playing on.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
Public speaking was always a struggle for me. I never liked to speak in front of people and never really had the confidence to speak in front of people. I took a lot of writing and speech classes to gain my confidence when it comes to public speaking and speaking to others.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
Basketball

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement so far?
My biggest achievement so far to date would be making all-region. It’s good to be first team all-conference back-to-back years but making all region and being noticed as one of the top backs was nice to see.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.
The most memorable play of my collegiate career would be against MSU Moorhead at home. I was in wildcat formation, got the snap, hurdled a defender and scored a TD.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?
My favorite professional team is the Kansas City Chiefs. There isn’t a specific player that I model my game around, but I try and incorporate parts of Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffery, Derrick Henry, and Alvin Kamara

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?
I don’t have a favorite artist. My favorite genre of music is hip hop but on game day I put my playlist on shuffle and rock out, you could catch me listening to lil baby or even La Roux so you never know.

What is your favorite comfort food?
Spaghetti and garlic bread

Do you have a favorite movie, TV show or actor?
My favorite TV show currently is Blacklist

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?
I’m a gamer, I like to play video games; warzone, madden, naan, and 2k. I also love to fish so whenever the weather is nice enough during the off season you can catch me at the lake fishing

Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?
My daughters are my biggest motivation on why I play. This game has taken me across the world and has opened so many opportunities for myself and I’ve always wanted to give my girls a better upbringing than I had growing up and expose them to more opportunities in life.
