What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?
My versatility, feel for open spaces in zone coverages and my awareness and skills of improvisation. I believe I don’t just play football but I’m a football player so I can put my own spin and interpretation on things that allow me to get the job done well in my own way to benefit the team. I’m a good learner and a willing teammate. I know that sacrifices need to be made for a team to function properly. I’m willing to do those things to help my team succeed.
If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?
Underprivileged kids with no means to follow their dreams. The way football is progressing its becoming harder for young kids to get the opportunity to play the game and Id love to help keep that dream going.
Who was your role model?
LeBron James
Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?
Kellen Curtis/Canaan Mullins – Incredibly intelligent guys who get written off for their height way more often than they should be. Makes the right calls and the right reads and just overall great guys. They’re level headed and unselfish beyond belief.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
People that have no sense of empathy and only think about themselves.
Who is your favorite teacher ever?
Lori Wright – Kansas Wesleyan University
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
Junior College – My time in Junior college was incredibly challenging. I was working two jobs while going to practice and then night class. This would start my day at 3am and make it home from class at night at 10pm. During my time there I also felt with terrible living situations often leaving me coach hooping or sleeping 4-5 deep in a one bedroom apartment. I was sick with COVID twice and battled injury during at the time.
If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?
Chilis – a triple dipper and a molten chocolate cake cake put a smile on almost face.
What is your favorite snack food?
Sunflower seeds
What is your degree in?
Graphic Design
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?
I’d have dinner with my best friends, my time with them is limited and I don’t need to have something special in mind or a fancy meal to have a good time with them.
What is your biggest weakness?
Myself. Not in a sense that I’m doing myself a disservice but in the sense of if it comes down to a situation, I know my own downfall wouldn’t be anyone else but myself if I set my mind to do something.
