What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Honestly it was something that my dad saw me having the potential in. I was always athletic I just never played any sports. My 8th grade year of middle school was my first time ever playing football and it was history from that point on.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I definitely would just say the brotherhood I’ve built through my journey. Going through the struggle with my brother and knowing that we had each others backs through it all.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I’m just looking to continue to grow and become a better football player. Just continuing to push myself outside my comfort zone so that I could reach an untapped potential within myself.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

I would say Barry Sanders, and just because he’s a legend and I would just want to explore his mind and his viewpoint on the game of football and just how it was for him being a student athlete.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

I would say my mom, she definitely inspires me the most. Just being able to endure and overcome so many challenges and obstacles. Regardless of anything she always keeps her head held high. She always been able to make something out of nothing. So my mom is for sure my inspiration.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

GT counter is definitely my favorite, it’s just something about this gap scheme that I love. I love having to have great patience with this play, being able to read your first puller and follow your second puller. I just feel as if you can’t go wrong with gap scheme.

What should we know about Gerald Green the person?

That I’m just a God fearing, kind, gentle hearted person. I love giving back and spreading love anyway I can. I’m very family oriented, my family is my everything. Anytime I come in contact with someone I want to be able to put a smile on the their faces.

What stands out about your film the most?

I would say just the ability to make and create explosive plays.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I handle challenges on and off the field by praying and giving my stress and concerns to my lord and savior. I also like to meditate as well, doing this has helped me tremendously.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would be getting a leader, and all around team player. My work ethic would speak for itself.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I fell in love with the adversity that comes with the game, being able to over come that adversity and shocking the world by playing high level football. Coming into big games being the underdogs and taking down the giants. That’s an amazing feeling and a reason why I love the game so much.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

The most underrated player I’ve played with is Jordan Lovett. He’s one of the most talented and versatile running backs I’ve played with. Being able to make cuts on a dime and make defenders miss in open space and tight spaces. As well as lining out in slot and being able to carry the same talent over. He’s definitely next up!
