Raiders pass rusher arrested for DUI
Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Charles Snowden was arrested Tuesday for DUI of alcohol and/or controlled or prohibited substance, 1st offense, according to Clark County Justice Court records.
Police reportedly stopped Snowden after receiving a report about a suspicious vehicle and he was ultimately given a misdemeanor charge of “DUI of alcohol and/or controlled or prohibited substance, first offense.”
Snowden was signed to the Raiders practice squad last season and found a way to work into the team’s starting rotation. The former University of Virginia pass rusher has played in every game this year and has started 7 games.
The Raiders sent a strong message last year when Roderic Teamer was arrested for DUI. He was cut the next day. Will the trend continue with Snowden?
