Arkansas Star Football Player Claims Police Shot and Killed His Brother
Andrew Armstrong the star wide receiver of the Arkansas Razorbacks went to Twitter to claim that the man shot and killed by DeSoto Police Department in Texas was his brother.
According to a post, 26-year-old Arthur Lee Armstrong, Jr. died after an incident involving officers with the DeSoto Police Department on Friday.
Hogs’ senior wide receiver Andrew Armstrong confirmed on X that Armstrong was his brother.
“Y’all did my brother like that knowing he had mental health issues,” Armstrong said. “He is in y’all system as one and y’all came to my granny house and shot him close range with an AR15 in front of our momma.”
Such a sad incident. It sounds like the brother of Armstrong did have a mental issue. He was yeilding weapons and wanted the police to hurt him. So sad, as a law enforcement officer, I am not sure what you can do. Pray for all involved, so sad.
