What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Always wanted to be a ball player man. Growing up I played ball with outside with my older siblings

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Playing football with my cousin when I was younger. Being able to play ball with the brothers I grew up with were my favorite moments.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Showcase how explosive and electric player I am and overall become a better player every single day.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

My guys at UNI, these boys were family, Well built bond and all fought for each other everyday. Just to see their brother get better every single day.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

I can say my papa that passed away. He always found a way to make it happen no matter the time and effort it took.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

I would say 3-3-5, honestly because I love having DBs on the field. A bunch of high motored skill guys with there eyes on the QB is a scary sight. I just love watching DBs fly around and making plays.

What should we know about Edwin Dearman Jr the person?

Edwin Dearman Jr. just loves to get the job done. Loves to make it happened no matter which way life takes you. A guy with his ego and pride to the side that loves the process.

What stands out about your film the most?

What’s stands out the most is my POA my point of attack, I’m very aggressive at point of attack I make very good contact inside the box. Very patient in coverage and overall love to come down hill reading the line of scrimmage.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I go about them as a sign from God. I let God steer the wheels and guide me into the right decisions and situations. Any challenge I take on I know it’ll either be a lesson or the next step towards the end goal. I embrace most of my challenge.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Any team would get a guy looking to grow every single day and not just make himself better but the ones around him that he can honestly learn from as well. Love to learn more and more about the game everyday. I like to make it harder on myself by making myself uncomfortable in certain situations.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I love the feeling it give you and how the game can lead you towards god if you’re playing the game like it should be played. You start to see the blessing unfold for you right in front of your eyes just due to your preparation.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

The most underrated player I would say is my guy Woo Governor. Kind of bit unsure on how he is not on a current roster at the moment. He a player with tremendous love and knowledge for the game. I’ve learned a lot about this game from him, he is an overall general on the field.
