What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Since the first time I put on pads it was my outlet, I fell in love with the game, the brotherhood and the process of working towards something.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments would have to be starting this journey with my twin brother at a young age, our state championship run in 2018, my first collegiate sack in 2021, and my favorite and most recent was a game winning strip sack for our teams first D1 win.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I’ve always been one to chase my dreams and I want to continue to prove to myself that I can accomplish anything, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to keep playing so it’s time to take my game to the next step and enjoy the process.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Clay Mathews, hands down. I remember back in juniors wanting to play just like him and having his fathead in my home gym for motivation. It would be a blessing to pick his brain on how he played the game.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My dad, he is a big reason why I’m here today, the countless sacrifices driving me along the east coast to camps and visits to get me recruited. Then coming to all my college games and pushing me to be great. I owe a lot to him, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

I think my versatility is a strength and that we played a 3-4 and a 4-3 at Mercyhurst, I think I can flourish the most as a pass rusher in a 4-3. In my career I’ve played 0-9 in alignments, and I’ve dropped into coverage as a hybrid backer, so I would say a 4-3 but versatility is one of my strengths and I can produce from different alignments in different fronts and on certain downs.

What should we know about Camden White the person?

I enjoy the little things, I love to cherish the relationships I’ve built and just have fun with life and the process, each step you take is going to set you up for where you want to be and it’s important to give all you have and just enjoy the ride.

What stands out about your film the most?

I’m a playmaker, when we need a big play, I like to put it upon myself to go do that. I’m more of a read and react, play the man and get after the football type of guy. With my size and athleticism, I can play anywhere from Edge in a 4 down to a true 3 down DE, to 3-tech. You can see a lot of energy and passion in my game.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

You have to attack them; without a test there’s no testimony. Challenges and failure are what drive your success. Attack your obstacles and you’re going to be a better man because of it. It’s all I’ve ever known, With the help of your support system and determination, attacking challenges is what takes you to the next level in anything in life.

What would a team get in a player like you?

I would just say you’re getting a guy who truly cares from the meeting room to the locker room, on the field, to the sideline. You’re getting a vocal leader who loves this game. You’re getting a guy who loves the process and takes the weight room, nutrition, rehab and the offseason seriously.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I would say the feeling of making a big play for your team or having the trust from all your teammates and coaches and being able to be a leader for them. The game has done tremendous things for me as a man and it’s important to me to give the game everything I have.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Jonas King, without a doubt. I’ve played alongside him the past 2 seasons and his potential has no limit. I would not be surprised if he’s in this same boat a year from now. I expect big things from him.
